|Etymology||The specific name wahari is taken from the Piaroa name Rúa-Wahari, the god of the creation according to the Piaroa peoples.|
|Size||78mm or 3.1" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.|
|Distribution||Known only from the middle section of the Río Cuao, a clear-water tributary of the Río Sipapo of the Orinoco River basin of south-western Venezuela.
