Scientific Name Brachyglanis magoi  Fernández-Yépez, 1967

Type Locality Río Uruyén, Venezuelan Guiana.
Etymology Brachyglanis: Greek, brachys = short + Greek, glanis = a fish that can eat the bait without touching the hook; a cat fish.
