Size 1140mm or 44.9" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification Easily confused with other members of the genus, especially when young. Older specimens larger than around 300mm begin to show many more large black circular spots over the back region.

Feeding Fish, crustaceans and literally anything that it finds tasty and small enough to eat.
Furniture Large secured pieces of bogwood and rock.
Compatibility Will eat anything that isn't big enough to avoid being on the menu.
Suggested Tankmates Other large catfish such as Oxydoras, Pterodoras and Megalodoras. Other fish should always be over half of its body length.
