|Etymology||Greek, hypo = under + Greek, stoma = mouth.|
|Size||300mm or 11.8" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.|
|Identification||A large spotted species. It was thought that L224 was the juvenile form and L233 is the adult but L224 proved to be a different species when Adult. L233 is however also LDA09, long thought to be H. mutucae, but that species has small spots on the head.|
|Distribution||Brazil: Mato Grosso, Rio Cuiaba, near the town of Cuiaba.
