how come c*****ds has those* marks instead of the letters. don't like that word here or what?

Since Acanthicus adonis was described in 1988, around the same time as L-numbers were introduced, this fish never got one. L-numbers are [or should at least] only be used for fish that haven't yet got a scientific description.

OK the reason i ask is because i have seen some for sale on PN and they had a L# but when i looked it up a different peco came up, then i seen another dealer in TO with a different L# and that never jived either. funny :roll:
