Re: Breeding Hemiancistrus subviridis
Is there really a big dip in front of the dorsal fin, or is it just the angle?

Re: Possible dragonfly larve?
I had something like this with some fish from the lfs. I managed to catch it and had it in a jam jar for a while, until I released it into a pond. SNV30574.jpg It may have been a dragonfly larvae, but I don't know how it got into the lfs. From the importers or the UK? It could have been anything, bu...

I would think it will be nearly impossible to ID a BN without capture location. Even that depends on whether they are WC, and if you know where they came from.

Re: my cats?
I didn't write it very clearly, but I meant that when you have pieced together all the sections written by various people, (before you actually add it to the site as an article) you could post it, and have other members suggest things that might need changing, before it is 'published'.

Re: my cats?
Sounds good. You would need to make it obvious where it is though, otherwise people will still ask us questions like 'Why the stars in c*****d?' because they haven't found the all-conquering article . Before you actually make it into an article you could post it and have people suggest things ...

@Loachy: How do I do that? Adding to My cats page? Go to the Aspidoras taurus page and click on the like at the top of the data sheet. Picture 23.png You can put how many adults and the ever-increasing population of young there are. You can also add notes such as 'constantly breeding, I am very hap...

You can never have too many, except if the tank is not big enough. 10 would make quite a good group and would bring out their more 'natural' behaviour.

See how he is then. If he's got no better then I would anesthatize him in an overdose of Clove Oil in solution. There's no point in giving him a long and painful death if he's not getting better. Being on his side is a sure sign he is his way out though, so don't get your hopes up. :( If you keep th...

Wouldn't the L cats eat the paint and foam when they are trying to eat the algae? I have a fake rock which is hollow. It is made of some sort of resin and was painted pretty well for a mass-produced object. Then my BN came along and the rock is mostly white underneath where the algae grows. I hope s...
