I guess the Mega will remain a solo bottom fish, think Ill add some small characins to clean up his scraps, he's a messy eater.
Thank you for the opinions everyone.

Keeping mixed size plecos together
I have an 18" Megalancistrus, a group of 5-6" Leporacanthicus (4 different species) and a few 2-3" L114s. These fish are currently separated in 3 tanks. Seems most plecos are aggro with others same or similar sized. What are your thoughts on how these would do together? Wondering if because their ...

Re: Multi L075 tank
Thank you, definitely going to try a few more now.Bas Pels wrote:I used to have 1, which I hardly saw. Then I picked up 3 more, and the result was much more relaxed fish, which were much more visible

Re: Multi L075 tank
I'm sure others with more experience will chime in, but when I first considered getting an L075, I was told to consider getting multiple, as they are pretty easy going. Stupidly, I only got one and now have not been able to get another. I would say go for it.

Re: Megalancistrus parananus
All I can say is I saw a big one of these in a shop over here and it was one of the coolest fish I have ever seen.
Matt
I agree, very cool...and spiny :D
They like Tetra bottom feeder tablets, bloodworm, algae tablets (although they don't clean the algae off the glass like a gibby would) etc ...

Megalancistrus parananus
I'm seriously considering picking up a 12 inch Mega but I have a couple questions I'm hoping someone can help with,
First, I've heard mixed opinions about this fishes aggression, some say very, some say not at all, what say you?
Second, Diet, again mixed opinions from herb to omniv to carniv, any ...
