Hi All
These are bought as Longnose Julii. Would appreciate the scientific name ID of these cory.I am thinking of C.acrensis after searching some sites.Thanks.

Kampfer what is the length of this fish...that would tell us a lot, it really should be not much larger than 115 mm TL if a true atterima.

The fish is abt 5inch (TL)...overall size and bulk is much smaller than the hybrid though.(although slighty plumper now)

Thanks Richard.Got this fellow since it was very small(1.5 inch).At that time,didn't even hybrid synos exist! Anyway, will take good care of it still.

Thanks guys...I try make it a easy maintainence tank.Currently doing 40% water change once a week. I am tempted to add one or two of na na plants or like Richard B suggested, coffefolia.Yes, Andywooloo,i have cardinal tetras in the tank:)

No idea about the natural diet, but i feeding FBW and brine shrimps in the tank.I was told it was from sunderbans ,india ,by the supplier.

Just like to hear some opinions...is it safe to comm Megalechis thoracata with corys(in a 2 ft tank)? Are they aggressive towards corys?will they be too competitive for food to the corys?
