Exactly, and maybe you don't end up blaming the new member for this obious annoyance for you. The least you could do is stating this in your FAQ. I did read it, and still ended up being patronized.

I did check the FAQ, and it does not state that location is imortant and a sore point. It doesn't mention location at all as far as I could tell?

I understand the novelty of telling new members to add their location wears off, but you can't expect new members to know how many times a mod has asked ...
