Just expressing my two cents.
I would think that most stores allow you to return fish if done within 2 weeks. Possibly longer.
Go by and ask, if you like, explaining that your tank is not really ready.

I went to LFS and pondered which fin rot med to use. Hoping to get something not too strong, yet good for target. Came home with something that contains 3 mg Victoria Green B and 30 mg of Acriflavine - per packet per dosage per 10 gal. Etc.
Will these ingredients be alright for the BN ...

Hi - thanks, yes- there is signs of fin rot on the pectoral fin. Angel is not using her right pectoral fin per usual (noticed last night), and there is visible white fuzz and some erosion on both fins. Angel was not eating as much as usual as of yesterday, also. The behavior hasn't changed ...

I recently added driftwood, following and modifying advice found here on PC. (I'm a newbie)
Boiling the driftwood is a way to help sterilize (assuming it fits in a large pan). Folks also suggest running it thru dishwasher with no soap a few times after scrubbing it down.

Asking for advice about getting another pleco. Because of the size and availability (and the vacation days) I am tempted to get this little fellow (now). They are labeled as Claetostoma thomasii, and look just like Chaetostoma sp. (1).
