Thank you for the reply. Blochii seems correct and likely full grown from what I've read. The little red in the head and tail has spots. Currently in a 5 foot 110 gallon. Can move to a six foot tank so I'll see how it goes.

When you don't know what you have you come here.

Just got this guy from a friend getting rid of his tank. Please help me identify him. I'm going a little crazy searching. Catfish is about 10 inches long. That's all I know for now. I just want to be sure what I have so I can determine the long term plan. Thanks much, Rich

Thanks for the replies. All fish are 7" or larger except for the hrp's which are around 3". The raninus stays in a ceramic pot during the day. It's sits top side down and it's drilled with a 2 & 1/2" opening. I feed him directly through the opening spirulina discs @ a couple a day. I would assume in ...
