Ah! See thats wat I thought too! I have owned a couple like this now, all different sizes, so I wonder if the LFS has been buying in Hybrids cause as far as I know, no one here in NZ breeds Synos.

Hi there,

Thanx for yur response! :-)

There are no other marks on the fish (not even scratches) but there is one of these white marks behind his top fin.

But thats about it.

I was hoping someone might be able to help me wif a wee problem I seem to be having wif my Big syno (also a new Medium one thats arrived wif the same condition)

The story before I saw he had it:
One of my other fish in my tank had died, and the body had got stuck in a 3ft Cave I ...

ID: Synodontis Catfish ....

Hi there all,

I was wondering if someone could help me ID my Syno?

I thought something like 'Synodontis Ocellifer' or similar?

Hes prolly about 15+cm at the ...
