I have a related question. I got zebra danios to liven up the top of the tank and they are dying right and left. I think maybe the cool water is too stressful for them even though it should be okay for them. I was wondering if I should wait until summer to add fish that haven't seen cool water temps ...

Hey thanks for all the ideas. I would love to have paleatus corydora and bristle nose too. I wish I could find those green ottos from uraguay for the algae.

I have set up a room temp 55g for Gymnogeophagus and need advice on what tankmates they can have. It is a planted tank with sand and ecocomplete substraute and the temp is 66F now and maybe up to 80F in the summer.
