Hey,
Thanks for the replies. I was told that they had bred as a group (9 of them) but that they did not know which specific plecs had bred. I am going to give it a miss anyway, I am not able to afford that sort of money to set them up and not have them breed. :?
I think I might try and breed ...

Oppertunity to purchase a group of breeding L46/L98 plecs
Hello,
As you can see from the title, I have the chance to buy a group of breeding zebra plecs. There are 9 of them and I have been told by the seller that they are willing to split the group.
I cannot afford to buy the whole group as much as I would want to but I could perhaps buy some of them ...

Sturisoma Catifsh - Regal Whiptail?
Hello,
When I got my biggest tank I got some fish with it. The seller described the fish as "sturisoma catfish (regal whiptail)". I have looked in the cat-eLog but he doesn't look like the whiptails on there.
He's about 5" long but thin and looks very much like a stick (his name is Stick! LOL), He ...

Everything I have read about them indicates otherwise. Dick Mills says "movement of water through the tank" is a special requirement. I know it's not quite the same thing but I have read that they like/need a strong current and mine certainly enjoy it. I was worried about putting my glass cats in my ...

Is there more than one kind of gold nugget pl*c?
I am not asing for me but someone is planning on getting a King Tiger and a Gold Nugget pl*c and they asked about them on another forum to see if they are ok in their 50US gallon.

Corydoars julii and corydoras leopardus - one and the same?
Hello people
I know that the Cat-eLog has these as 2 different species but I was talking to someone who reckoned they are the same and they scanned a book showing this. I have looked around the internet and I am getting the 2 different views.
Ideas?

Where are whiptails from?
Hello,
I am hoping to get a new tank and there are some fish with it. This includes what the seller described as a "sturisoma catsifish (regal whiptail)" that is 5" long but .5" wide.
I can't find information on whiptails in the cat-eLog (just pics) so I don't know where they come from to ask ...

Thanks Barbie but I did try searching and I couldn't find anything that has descriptions of what 'odontodes' are. Everyone seems to know, except me! It's like it's assumed that everyone knows what they are and everyone can identify them.
I am pretty confused. Well, whatever they are I don't think ...
