Thanks! Not sure where you are located but Global Fish Co in NJ has gotten fish from this genus a few times that i can remember, some very large specimens in the past.

Thanks guys, yeah he's definitely got some size to him. They initially told me he was 7" minus the streamers but he's really like 10"-11" without them, lol. 15" TL. Definitely the biggest fish I've had.
Tried some fresh shrimp last night. He was loving it.

Thanks for the reply. This is reassuring. Filtration is two fluval 406's plus a small surface skimmer but I may add an air stone if he doesn't improve. Hopefully the wayer changes will help him acclimate over the next couple weeks.

Awesome, thanks for the tips! I added a ton of caves and crevices, and he seems to have staked out an area for himself that's pretty far from any of the other plecos' caves. My pH runs about 6.8. The water in the tank stays pretty soft as well. Here's hoping he does well!

Otos are quite small as well and have spines so if the raph is gonna eat tetras he'll probably eat otos too. Plus otos could get lodged inside him. I'm not sure what you could put in there with him though... Personally I'd try to find a bigger tank.
