so i did some more looking and your correct. it was acanthicus adonis im thinking about. i was really hoping it was something else due to the large size this fish is capable of. my largest tank is a 180, and even that isnt closeto big enough for an adult fish. Oh well, so it goes.

i need some help. im trying to find an l number or a common name or something for a fish. the long tail, adonis pleco. im trying to decide what other l nmubers this fish is going to be compatable with. can anyone help me?

i have a single l240 living in a 125 with some yo yo loaches, a birchir, a pair of raphiel cats and a farowella and i want to add some more 240 to the mix. should i do it one at a time, or do i buy two or three all at once to add?

my l81 seems to enjoy both cucumber and mango both. I dont have any problems with it hurtin my swords that i can tell, buti make sure i has plenty of other food too.

there is a calico bn, 2 oto's, 4 angels, 8 assorted corys and betta. I bought som parasite meds with metronidazole and praziquantel.

matt, no the plecs are spread through 5 tanks, i ned to update my aquaria profile. Im kindathinking the pleco may have internal parasites. I dont really want to move it but if i hve to i guess i will

the phatom is in with my angels now. its a planted tank, medium lighing, ph 7.5, temp 78f. the tanganican tank i not planted, about the same lighting, ph 7.6, temp 78 also. update. i originally moved jut one ofthe 183 into he discus tank. Its been a few weeks now, and the fish looks very happy. It has a full belly and its color is perfect. there ar 2other plecs in the tank, only 1 of which isan actual algea eating fish. the glass stays clean, and nobody gets bothered. ...

contacted seller, this fish is wc. ihave fresh zuchini for it, and seller says i was eating wafers so im trying that too. tonite im gonna try shrimp pellets, i know my 240 really likes those.

what can i do that might entice my newes adition to start eating again? i have wood in the tank its in, just a juvenile bn as the other pleco. angels for tankmates. garlic? mango? ialready feed cucumber and zuchini. and occasionally wafers.

i have cottonwood in all my tanks that i collected myself and all the wood eating plecos i own seem to enjoy it. the stff i get is already fallen and has been for a while

im gettin rid of mythree bigger plecos. th sailfin, chocolate and a common. this opens up the tank that i have convicts and brichardi in. go get some cucumber. cut it in half longway, then in pieces a couple inches long. stick a fork in it and put it in the tank. once they get it figured out, theyll love it. another thing to try would be peas. Tie them to something, that same fork maybe, with a rubber band and let them try that. spina...

Just speakin from experience. I have two violet discus and 4 angels ina tank together with a royal pleco l190 an they do fine together withno problems so far. there i a largepice ofdriftwoo th pleco enjoys,the temp is 85 f an i use ro water
