Re: Cory ID?

Thanks for your reply, it looks just like the pictures so it must be the one or a really close one. C075 are a similar species according to Corydoras World.

First group L201 Hypancistrus sp(l201)
Second group L129 Hypancistrus debilittera

Saul

Thank you Saul,

How sure are you about L129? Would be great to have some certainty.
When I look at some of the pictures on L129 it seems to be the one..

L201 should be correct, we might be lucky on those ...

Re: L038 Fry

We have had 3 spawns so far. The 2nd one went straight to the male's stomach [-(
The 3rd we counted to 12 eggs, one fry died within a week, so eleven left.

Anyway, I believe we lost one fry that had some trouble with the yolksac in the 1st spawn.
We have one or two in the 3rd spawn as well that ...

Re: L- ???

I asked the seller where he got them from. He said he had bought them as L-333 from a wholesaler in Sweden about a year ago.

I'd say , but of course these two L-numbers are very close...

In our eyes L129 is a possible candidate, that was our guess in the store.

Re: L- ???

I moved this to "What's my catfish?" where questions on ID goes.

The second picture looks like Hypancistrus contradens or Hypancistrus sp(L201) - they look the same from above, so can't say which it is.

Third picture I'd say is Hypancistrus sp(L340) .

L- ???

Came across a new pleco today, the seller is a novice regarding plecos so I need some help to ID this. It looks very similar to our L-168 (Dekeyseria brachyura) in shape, some kind of Dekeyseria?

Bought as L049

Hello,

We purchased a group of L049 in June 2010 and now they have spawned.
We think it's more likely L038 and would be pleased if someone could help determine the species. We don't have a lot of pictures though, I hope they are good enough for you.

What do you guys think?
