We believe it's L174 we got, some of the pictures in the Cat-eLog are spot on.
The seller told us he got them when they were about 3cm, he believed they were about 2-3 years old now. Maybe at the small size as 3cm it's harder to determine which spices it actually is. They are also captured at the ...

Yep I have read a bit of the thread about L173b etc.
I saw this on the Cat-eLog regarding L174:
Identification Could be taken for a H. zebra variation. Exhibits stripes on the head like on H. zebra but the rest of the body is covered with black spots, sometimes joined together forming a small ...

Re: Bought as WC L173
We had our guess on L174, but I thought it would be best not to point in any direction for a good answer.
They are quite small, around 7-8 cm TL. There are not a lot of juvenile pictures in the Cat-eLog.
Maybe these fish can look a bit like L173 before they are fully grown?

Bought as WC L173
Hello,
We bought a pair as wild caught L173, the owner have had frys on them and have more breeding adults.
The fishes are supposed to be fully grown.
We doubt that it actually would be L173 by their appearance.
