Hi,
I'm in need of any information at all on this pleco, L362. If anyone could point me to any online pictures of it, or even a written description comparing it to other Scobinancistrus spp. would be of great help.
I have NO idea what it looks like and it's shown up on an importer's list (along ...

Those L333's can be really hardy tankmates. I have a single one, very small, 1.5-2" in a 125g with some large S. & C. American Cichlids. He's been in there well over a year by now I reckon and can go toe to toe with the red devil, well okay, not quite, but the size disparity makes all the cichlids ...

They can be pretty nasty to other tankmates, but just as nasty as any other threatened pleco I've found. I'd actually compare their aggression level to a sedate royal pleco (at least mine are quite forthright in manner when they want), but the A. adonis has much more of a penchant for moving around ...

LA fish stores to visit?
Hi,
I'm in the LA area for about a week for business reasons and it'd be great to see any stores that people recommend for whatever reason, oddballs, plecos, cichlids, etc.
Please reply here, email me so I can do some serious fish browsing.

Some people dislike the bristles on bristlenose pleco's, but if that's the reason you don't like them you can get a female BN that will have none of those marks or very small ones depending on spp. If you think the coloration of BN's you see in the store is drab, I beg to differ. :) But, personal ...

I haven't seen heater burns, but I've seen the effects of bacterial infection on some of my pleco's and the outside of their skin is a white color with the skin still intact. A treatment with flagyl always made it disappear. I used to work in one of the chain petstores and we'd get around 100 common ...

Re: Zebra
Hey, that's a great price especially since it's off season. Are they L-45's or L-46's? Could you let me (and others here) the source for your zebra. The name of the store and # and email if possible. I'd snatch up the rest if they have any left. Been wanting to do a biotype tank based around zebra's ...
