its definitly a rendahls, i have a few, they are great but not as hardy as the tandanus and salmon cats.

i would say NO!
in a few months it will easily be large enough to eat the gourami in one gulp.
they only go well with large aussie natives, american cichlids and other large exotics.

i feed mine anything it will eat, i think they eat more than they should and have to rest a while to digest.
they are awesome fish though but they get big!
