If the Brochis goes into the mouth of the Ae. He might eat them. From what You say, It sounds like the Ae. are going to spawn. And then I`m not sure this is a good connection
Sorry, I`ve tried to take a pic, but it doesn`t show good. Tried many times.
But how many Farlowella, that becomes 25cm lives in Columbia? Nobody have a clou?
2 years ago, I think. I bought a "par" of Farlowella wild. In the shop they told me. That this was NOT a gracilis. And the guy who sold me these, know what he talks about. So my question are: What Farlowella do I have? As he said, it is not a gracilis, I think it must have come from the same place ...
I don`t think it has to do with age. As there were different sizes, but no real big. I``d done a lot of reading about this. And one place, they rode it maybe had to do, with the food? Anybody have an idea? I`ve seen some of the new seasons L_128. They all are a litle more greenish, than what I ...
Fist I must apologize. I am very sorry. My dreams were bigger than reality. It was not Brochis. But Corydoras (adolfi)? I do not know from where they come. But now I have seen them good. And thanks for the help. I have seen pic`s from splendens before. Thats why I thought, that what I`ve got, could ...
Anybody had babiès from these ? I think I maybee have ? Found today 2 youngs 1,5-2 cm in my 550L. But here goes other fish. 2,1 L-201, some mediumsize cichlids and some Corydoras aeneus. And of cours 2,1 B. britskii. These 2 babies I see. Looked like some from the C. adolphi complex, but a litle ...
Can I have a pair of Farlowella. Together with my Sturisoma ? All about same size, 20cm.
My Sturisoma`s are breeding.
430L. with gravel, plants and roota.
I have a friend who move them just before they hatch. I take what I can get, when they are hanging on the glas. It`s enough for me. I get about 40-50 everytime. And I move them whit a cup. No net. Before, when I thought it was importen to get hold on as many as possible. I tried to suck them out ...
Ok I can do that. In fact I`ve already tried that. I just thougt it may be to much vaste ?
Now I lost another class. I measured the nitrit to 0,05, is that a lot ?
I talked to a guy in a aquariumshop today. He said I should try with Live artemia ? Good idear ?
Your sure right here "Raising Sturisoma fry takes a lot of work ".
But I will try this next time I`ve got babies. The have eggs all the time. And I think, maybe I must try to make the water a litle higher Ph ? How do You feed them the Spirulina powder ?
I`m feeding them. Spirulia powder and some driedfood mixed in eggwhite, after a recipe here in another tread. Many died in the summer, maybe the water was to warm. Later, when the 2 last hatch`s died. I thought I feed them too much. So now I`m feeding them a litle les, but now some dies from hunger ...

I have asked around, these people I know. And some have experied the same ? Anybody who have and ...
This last I knew. I just thought maybe I could add a litle more. Now when I anyway jused the egg. But I understand, this was not like that.
BUT: Now I have a new problem. My babies all in one day? It looked lied they were poissend. I saw some of them turned around, in the morning. I changes a buck ...
This was a very good idea to my sturisoma babies. But it only sticks on clay. I tried on glas but here it fall off very rapidly when it came into the water. But I have a question. Why only use the eggwhite? Why not the hole egg? I think there must be a lot off proteins in the yellow? Regards Roland ...
