I used on of the pet mate pond filters with UV on my oscar tank fed by a small pond pump and these worked better than any tropical external filter on my 6x2x2 oscar tank with a couple of very large claris cats.

The water conditions where spot on ...

looks like the fish i got

How long before it gets to that size and looks like I am going to have to pass him on because to be fair I cannot house him correctly when he gets bigger.

The biggest I can get is a 84 x 30 x 30 which is not fair on the fish.

the price tag on these in the uk was only £19.95 + VAT (17.5%) not a lot for a great looking fish this was of course trade price.
