Eric, Thank you. That was an iPhone picture and as you are aware they are not super photogenic. They do seem to take off when I go near the tank and as clients pass by it all day they are not out too often. I will try for a better upload, but this gives me something to go by and I hate to mis ...

I received several of this small "Pleco" into my shop and was unsure of the correct identification.
They came in as Red Zebra. Look something like L288, however the facial patterns are different.
Any suggestions?

I can attest to the confusion of common names; It happens to fish shops as well as to clients.

I do agree that Cory's are mainly Carnivores; however I have seen my Cory's
eating from zucchini that I have placed in the tanks for the Ancistrus.
I believe that if they didn't eat any vegetable matter,then they wouldn't touch the zucchini.
I have seen mine eat from the slices several times ...

so I guess $30.00 each is fair for an even rarer fish...LOL!

I agree that name "Milegros Cory" is a trade name for C. Fowleri, your fish are not Fowleri.

Yes, I think that Valb68 and I have both seen allergic reaction's to bloodworms in our fish.
I have read elsewhere that switching brands has stopped the flicking and rapid breathing.
This issue seems to effect Guppies, Rainbows and other fishes as well.

I keep 8 adult Cory's in each of my 20H breeding tanks. (24" Long) My assumption is that your group of Catfish would receive regular water changes and care. As long as they have swimming space in the front area of the tank I would think your group would do nicely.

I use trumpet snails in my egg boxes, but they can get out of hand when I dump the fry into tanks, so I use Assassin snails in my fry tanks and have never had any issues. I have never seen it but, If they were eating a Cory fry, it died and missed being sucked out in a water change. :d ...
