Re: Can you help me ID this mysterious Cat?
Thank you. Is there any info you can give me on this catfish. Is it worth keeping, or is it going to be a problem being kept with a few other fish?

Can you help me ID this mysterious Cat?
Sorry for the poor photos, but can anyone help me ID this particular catfish. The LFS did not know what it was, and at the moment, it is about 1.25" or so long.
Bull, redtail, sun etc. Seems to have similar body shape? Tail looks different. Anyways, any help would be great, as I want to know if ...

Re: Cleanup crew for a Royal L27
Well, I have stayed on top of the water changes, and it hasnt been as big a deal as I was thinking. Yes, bricks everywhere, but not to the point it takes away from the appearance of the tank.
Also, although off subject. He seems to have some torn tail fins, and all I have is a 6" Green Terror ...

Re: Cleanup crew for a Royal L27
Maybe I should have just asked for experiences with this species instead. Anyways, any info on how to care for the L27 would be appreciated. Great looking, isnt shy, and makes a ton of brickets...

Cleanup crew for a Royal L27
Well, I am the new proud owner of a 5" Royal, and my question is: I knew that they ate a lot of wood, and made a major mess, but is there an easier way of dealing with this without having to vacuumn (water changes) the tank multiple times a week. If I was to keep up with this pleco and vacuumn the ...

I am thinking about selling them, what do lucipinnis seem to fetch on local fish forums and craigslist as price goes?
They are all about 3"
Thanks in advance

Re: Featherfin Catfish, do they get along with pictus cats?
I ended up getting a 5" Striped Raphael. The featherfin sold, and I am trying to keep the tank all SA anyways. Now I can, and he is a good looking fish. I actually saw a lot of him last night, so hopefully he comes out more than most I hear about.

Featherfin Catfish, do they get along with pictus cats?
I have (3) 3" pictus cats in my 55 gallon, along with (1) 5.5" Green Terror. Will a 4-4.5" Featherfin Catfish not only mix with the pictus cats, but the water parameters of a SA Cichlid like a Green Terror?

Re: Synodontis petricola or S. lucipinnis?
Well, 4 of the 5 look like the one in the photo, the other one, could very well be a hybrid. The LFS that I got him at was not as good. It has the bigger spots all over the body.
Also, if you go into the photobucket site with all of my fish photos, there is one Synodontis that has always had a ...

Re: Synodontis petricola or S. lucipinnis?
Thanks Dave. I also posted a link to my photo page if anybody needs more photos to ID them. (Although, I think this is the best of the lot to ID them by)
I am pretty sure one of them is for sure a Lucipinnis, (my first one) although I bought him under the name of Petricola. The other 4 were from a ...

Synodontis petricola or S. lucipinnis?
Synodontis petricola or S. lucipinnis? I know, this question is brought up all the time, but I have photos that will help in my case. I was sold 5 petricola's which are probably Lucipinnis according to most fish forums like this one discussing the topic. Most LFS miss label the petricola, and was ...
