Re: Is this a bacteria or parasite????
My tank is fine. I've had a Red Tiger Mota in this 110 cube for a while. I sold my mota and spend a few days readying for this new guy. I slowly dropped his ph. Because he came from a 7.4 my water was @ 7.6 with the Mota. He probably was in the not best of condition to start with. If you've read my ...

Re: Is this a bacteria or parasite????
Thanks guys.
I've only been dropping it from 7.2 on the 28th down to 6.6 Today in a .2 increment and over 4 days, which should be not overly stressful. He ate again last night. I figured I'd just see if he was still hungry, and within 5 seconds of showing him a shiner he ate it just like I'd hoped.

Re: Is this a bacteria or parasite????
These look like heater burns to me.
Thanks interesting thought, but I noticed 1 of the marks on day one. Could've been from the place but he was in a big system with no heaters. Could these be like a permanent mark/scar then from a past burn? I'm fine with it but I don't want to dip or treat my ...

Re: Gulper Catfish Questions
Thanks, I'll post a video clip if I can tonight. The Gulper seems to really dig the flow and bubbles. Maybe more experienced eyes can says if hes digging the current or simply dealing with it.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Re: Gulper Catfish Questions
Yea I understood that part, but they do seem to love bubbles and the filters flow. So I put this http://www.f3images.com/IMD/600/XO06131/Aqueon-Circulation-Pump-500-Gph-99.jpg in it is the smallest of the circulation pumps from aqueon. I can try it without as well. I was just curious as to their ...

Gulper Catfish Questions
I've read most all I can about my new Gulper Catfish. I have found little to no info, actually let me re-phrase that, I've found little bits of conflicting info; on whether or not these fish like or don't like current. I've read some ppl say these fish love the bubbles and swimming into the ...
