to answer OP questions, i keep mine between 82-84 degree and they seem to do fine. i just make sure there is alot of aeration in the tank and lots of water movement as they seem to enjoy floating right in front of the powerhead.

nicely decorated tank with substrate, wood, and rocks are for the eyes of the viewer only IMO. these gulpers dont move much at all except when feeding time. all it mainly needs is very clean water and good filtration which is already provided. :D

funny thing is the picture of it puffed up is all natural. i didn't feed anything to get it like that. just once in awhile it puffs up, maybe to get my attention which it usually does. :D

need some help. i got a 5 inch tigrinus with a little bubble like thing growing on the side of the body. so tempted to just pop it. does anyone have any idea on what it is and how i can cure it. wanted to post a pic but cant get a good pic of it.
