Thanks for all your replies, I agree the body shape does seem a better match to L127, though looking at the adult size of both L127 and L147 my fish still have some growing to do, so perhaps it'll become clearer when they grow.

Good spot on the pelvic fin position this would also suggest L127, but ...

Not any good plec shops in Essex that i know of... but nearby, Wholesale Tropicals in East London had lots on my last visit and lots of cory's. In kent - Waterlands at Dillywood garden centre (i think) also had a good selection. I would phone ahead though if after something specific.
