Thanks for the reply Silurus. That's one of the things I like about this pleco is the variability. I think I may give this species a go.

Does anyone have experience with L134? Are they commonly imported? I saw some at a lfs and the black was quite washed out. I'm assuming it's because they were without substrate and stressed, or are there color ...
