Re: L340 - keeping them a little colder?
Thanks for the replies guys. I will have to see if I can move these guys to a different tank, rehome them or get an additional heater (my current heater cannot seem to increase the temperature above 24 degrees at full power due to water volume).

L340 - keeping them a little colder?
Hi, I am new to the forum and have a question regarding my L340 Mega Clown Pleco's (3X).
When I bought them at my LFS they told me they would do fine in the water parameters/setup I specified:
Large 220G community tank with lots of rockwork and driftwood, sand substrate
PH: 6.8
Temp: 24C / 76F ...

My substrate is the typical small gravel you see in lots of aquaria, and the sand is playsand, so ...

Re: Sandpatch enough for cory's?
Thanks for the quick replies! My cory's already spend much of the time on the sand, especially because that is the place where I feed them (sinking tablets, bloodworms etc), and they are sifting through it to find scraps long afterwards. When they are resting they move onto the gravel to hide ...

Hi I am Ramon and recently set up a tank (150L) with a group of seven Corydoras trilineatus. I divided the Tank in an open sand patch (1/3 of total substrate coverage) surrounded by large rocks to avoid mixed substrates. Outside of this open patch I have a planted substrate layer of ...
