Feeding Juvenile Striped Raphael Catfish
We got three juvenile striped raphael catfish a week ago. They are about 2 inches long and are in a quarantine tank right now. They have plenty of hiding places and will come out after the lights are turned off to feed. My question is, how much do we feed them? Right now, we are dropping 4 Hikari ...

Re: Deformed Mouth on Cory Cat?
I really don't think the rock is Texas Holey Rock. My husband said that is what the rock was, but when I looked online at pictures, the rock doesn't look like the Texas Holey Rock. I think it might be more of a sandstone. The cory cat sits on the slate and doesn't mess with the edges.

Re: Deformed Mouth on Cory Cat?
What type of substrate do you have? Is there rough rocks in the tank like lace rock? This looks similiar to what my first albinos would have when I kept them on gravel. They basically wore off their barbels and "noses" digging and would end up passing away from the wounds.

Deformed Mouth on Cory Cat?
We have had 2 julli cory cats for about 2 months now. We started out with 5 cory cats, but lost 2 within the first week and another one a few weeks later. After we lost the first two, my husband made sure to find them everyday to make sure they were eating, etc. He has always noticed that the one ...

Re: New Cory Cats are Dying- Help!
The only time I see the cory cats go up to the surface is the day before they die.
So far, the snails and shrimp are doing good. The shrimp have been working as soon as we added them to the tank.
We dripped acclimated the cory cats for an hour.
We haven't had any ammonia/nitrite spikes. We have ...

New Cory Cats are Dying- Help!
This is my first post. We have a fairly new lo-tech, lo-light dirted heavily planted tank. (2 months old, fully cycled). We started to add fish in the tank last week. 10 cherry barbs, 3 male Bosemani Rainbowfish, 2 Siamese Algae Eaters, 2 Bristlenose Plecos, 6 Amano Shrimp, 3 Netrite snails and a ...
