Is this any better. And roughly how old would you say they are.

Place them in a basin and take close up photos from the top.
Less likely they will eat prepared food with the lights on. Drop food then turn all lights off. Go to sleep and let them be.
If they don't finish off everything, that big guy on the left side of your tank will definitely help himself ...
