Yeah, I was looking for peaceful ones though. Whatever ones I get will be housed with a group of clown loaches, so they can't be overly mean. :?

I guess I'm going to pursue another, smaller alternative. I'm thinking a grou of 5, maybe 6 Brachysynodontis batensoda. Would it be recommended to stop at those as my only "bottom" feeders, or would another cat group make a nice addition?

Thanks Silurus, but I've already read that post - it offers one retailer and it seems to be the concensus from that post and other past ones that they are hybrids, so it isn't a tremendous help in this case. The 150 is hardly stocked with only about 12 fish in it with extreme overfiltration - AC500 ...

African Cats to go with Hemisynodontis membranaceus

Hey all - I'm looking for some cats to complement a 2-3(maybe 4) group of Hemisynodontis membranaceus I'm thinking of getting for my 150gal Cichlid tank, 8"-12" predatory Haps. From what I can find, the Hemi is peaceful, and I know many of the Syno species are not. I'd like to get a group of 4 or 5 ...

Catfish ID?

I'm sorry this is a little vague, but I need some help possibly ID'ing a catfish I saw at a fish store(not local, about 190 miles away). It was about 2 feet long and the guy said it was pretty much a baby that it'd reach around 8 feet. Anyways, it was grey to dark grey on top slowly getting lighter ...
