Re: New Weitzmani

Congratulations on your new additions. I try to get always around 8, this is my reasoning. In 8, you increase chances of having both sexes and just in case you lose one or two. I have a good friend in Ontario that can help you out with fish, I may bring some fish to him once in awhile when I go an s...

Re: Need advice from rare pleco breeders, please.

Hello 2T, I came to the same problem with L260. I did not feed the tank for 2 days then added some repashy on the front corners to see if I could atract any juvies. So, I did so and waited about 30 minutes after lights out, but they are too fast and was able to grab a few, then thought about doing t...

Re: How the heck do you attach a plastic sheet tank backing?

Hello,
I've found just easier to deal with to paint black with a small roller. Using only water base paint. Less of a mess, unless you want to have it as a display tank. Maybe use duck tape, using only about .25" width of tape.

Re: Corydoras adolfoi surprise eggs

Hello, sorry I just look at your thread. Eggs are infertile for sure and males probably too young, but the females are full of raw and get the urged. All I can recommend is patience as the young males will catch up. I looked at the pictures but cannot really see the eggs. Next time take a really clo...

Re: L46 Zebra potential setup

Chris, Words well spoken or written, could not agree more. Sometimes you may have a successful breeding group and decide to change setup or move them to a different tank and won't spawn again. This is not my experience, but a great breeder told me his story and to this date, no more spawning. I am t...

Re: I tried Repashy food, and now I think I might be getting divorced

I was sent to the store to buy my own cooking ware and a dorm size fridge. Problem solved. I mix mine when she is away or taking a shower. Heat up water 2 minutes in a pyrex, portion the repashy food in a bowl, plastic fork and mix in garage. Pour the porridge in a plastic container with lid and sto...

I had a a great time. I had the pleasure to meet Andy in person after a few pm. Good times at the auction I even took Teds shirt off his back, I really enjoyed that moment. The whole event was awesome and such wonderful hosts. They even cater my need (gluten free) Meghan putting up with my jokes and...

I second the responses. I am anal about diseases and the central system would create an epidemic catastrophe. A central system is just time efficient, that why I would not buy from a large pet chain. Disease central. Draninage would be fine. and @Narwhal72 came with an excellent solution to scoop ou...

From the FB posts of the rare fish auction there are a great many nice fish going to be available. Andy All thi...

Re: ID help, please. What did I buy - L201, contradens, or other?

I had just seen some very similar at my lfs. They were tagged as L136b, but there are conflicting pictures on the same species. The spots change depending on what part of the river they are from.

Listed at lfs as L136b

Good day where ever you are. This bad boy is listed as L136b which is not according to pictures posted here. Any help is much appreciated. I have 4 on hold for 2 days. My eyes lit up when I first saw them. I have my opinion on what they are, but I am not always right. Thanks for any guidance. M. Zitro
