Hello, I purchased this pleco about a year ago as a l048 golden cloud pleco.
I always wondered if it is a Scobinancistrus cf. pariolispos l048

I bought it at a lfs as a papa panaque, but I was told by a friend is a l203 panaque schaeferi. Any idea ?

The easiest way to tell P. armbrusteri and P. nigrolineatus apart, is to look at their teeth actually. P. nigrolineatus have less, but stronger ones, while P. armbrusteri has more and quite small in comparison. Morphology is always better than pattern and colour.
