I believe that all 4 fish you've posted are L397s despite the darkish orange colour. They all have the squiggly pattern on their heads and the 3 colour stripes on their fins.

They may not hv your standard L397 colours but they are L397s.

I took the liberty of magnifying the tail of Jobro's adult fish and you can see the characteristic white band (albeit a bit faint) of the L397 in it. See pic attached. I have to admit that the red in Jobro's L397 is very striking. ...

@syno321 - I noticed 4 wigglers with yolk sacks in a corner of the breeding tank. I took the cave with dad and tipped it into a bowl with water. The rest of the L397 wigglers just popped out.

@syno321 I tumble the eggs in a Ziss Egg tumbler until about 75% of the yolk sack is absorbed. Thereafter, I move the wigglers into a Ziss fry box with an IAL. There is an air stone attached to the fry box. I start feeding them with Hikari First Bite, 2 days after the yolk sack is fully absorbed. Af...

The 35, L397 fry are doing well.
They have colored up real nice and putting on weight fast

Thanks Eric and Barry. Quite a big first spawn. I was a bit surprised after being used to an average of 15 from my L46 groups.

This is what I woke up to in the morning. My first ever L397 spawn. Noticed 4 wigglers in a corner of my tank with yellow shrimp. I've had the group for only a couple of months. For some reason I thought that Cara Wade lived in the UK. When she was looking to get a positive ID of the fish in question on a FB Pleco forum, I offered to post them on planetcatfish.com. It has now come full circle. What a small world
