That was my first thought, too...and then I cheated and looked at the Cat-e-log...and it's likely that I still got it wrong!

bronzefry, don't feel bad...this is my third year and you've had as many families as me:

Callichthyidae ( C. aeneus albino, C. ambiacus , C. julii )
Loricariidae ( Otocinclus spp.)

Limited to C. aeneus albino at present; will get more species when I move to somewhere where I can have legitimate ...

If you search for the Royal Farlowella, you might be able to find info on it. There is a difference in spelling, so you might find some more info using that or the Latin name that you mentioned.

Fishy411, almost all if not all Ancistrus spp. are called Bristlenoses, so it could be a case of hybridization if an albino bristlenose breeds with a normal BN.

Actually, the apology was about a thread on buying catfish for consumption, namely http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... hp?t=10146 and should have been a reply to that thread, but the user clicked on the wrong button and thusly made this a new thread.

One would be quite surprised at how far crays will go to snag fish...I'd say that the cories are quite likely to get nailed at night, as are the angels...crays climb on aquarium decor with ease and will use that ability to take out any piscine tankmate that is around. The plec might be safe, but I'm ...

Raw fish flesh (especially that of marine fish), shrimp and other shellfish, and maybe some catfish pellets (but those might not be as readily taken as the former).

Sorry, was replying to the post prior to yours...I meant that one Pyjama Cat was too much for a 10...breeding pair of apistos in ten is fine.

Three apistos in a 10 gallon is too many...and if you get a breeding pair, what will happen to the third one in a tank smaller than 30 gallons?

10 tetras of any type is also too many for a 10 gallon.

That's probably too much as well...the Tigers should be in at least a 15-20 gallon tank for that many and the Leopards would probably do best in a larger shoal, which, with their active swimming, would probably be best in a 20 long.

I will have to ask you to define your terms on the "Pyjama Catfish ...

Unfortunately not. A pair of Kribs could dominate the bottom of a 29 gallon tank. A single Pictus could easily need a 50-70 gallon tank and would eat the Kribs.

Unfortunately both of those tank suggestions would be overstocked.

Clown Loaches need tanks on the order of hundreds of gallons. Neither three UDCs nor Agamyxis pectinifrons would do well long term in a 10 gallon.

As for the BNs, I do agree that they would not fit well in a 10 gallon. I do not ...
