what is the filteration system like? i only seen 1 pond filter on the top left corner.

im considering building something similar in not too distant future

i dont have spare tank for them so for now they will have to stay in my display tank.

the female appears to be more aggresive than the male, strangely i always thought male would be more aggresive

i keep a group of 9 for over 3 years with no luck of breeding them. im sure i have both sexes and the females are very gravid.

havent done anything in order to get them breed just daily feeding at night and weekly water change.

tank size 75x50x40cm with thin sand and driftwoods with rectangular ...

my 10" L330 is passing long stringy poo and looks a little bloated :(

what do i do? leave it for now and observe? or should i treat it? with what medication

I will leave them in the comm tank for the time being and let them grow bigger before i attempt to breed them.

im not sure where they are from and i got them as L191 from 2 different shipments.

i have seen someone trying to sell young L418 which look very similar to fish in pic #1 . of course not because of that im saying mine is L418.

im hoping the first one is L418 aka peru green
both fish are about 5" TL

i only feed them once everynight but all of them are quite fat. will try to take picture of others when i redo my setup.

What do you think? Fat male or hairy female??

how do you treat with metro? wc change every day and add 20ppm of metro?

my friend saved his fish from bloat with combination of 20ppm metro and 10ppm tetracycline hcl, wc every other day and half dose of each medication, which i followed but ... no luck ...

just added 20mg/lt of metro ... finger cross it will recover

its in 60ltr hospital tank. i havent added meds yet ... currently temp set at 31c with 2 large airstones for extra air.

will wait until tomorrow before i go with medication. have you treated pleco with metronidazole before? im a bit reluctant with meds

im currently in jakarta ... medications are easy to obtain in here unlike in australia.

saw it last night but im not sure when did it happen, usually it only come out for food briefly and back to its hiding place.

what medication is recommended for internal bacteria treatment and what dosage?

i recently bought 6 peru green lines and i noticed that 1 of them has no barbel so far so good ...the fish is active and eating. my question is will this affect the fish in any way?

bit off topic but i really like to know why everyone keep saying panda is hard to keep?

i have them in my discus tank where the temp sometimes go as high as 32c, which i know not really ideal for most cory however, my sterbai, atropersonatus, aenus and trilineatus are thriving there...
