Bogged down with lots of nice choice ,what a great position to be in ,The dangilla is the Myanmar one yes .It is a pound cheaper than opsarius though ??? Re: New Arrivals - Glyptothorax siamensis

Hi Martin , I think the flow is an issue , Also I think once settled and grown these cats may predate on small fish? Given the way they are acting I would suspect this but I may be wrong .
Sorry to throw another problem in .

Re: New Arrivals - Glyptothorax siamensis

Interesing point Rupert , It very much depends on Martin? I know shistura that will beat the catfish up ! I agree you would have to make sure food gets to them but it will be a dull tank 5 feet with 3x3" cats .. as you say get the hang of them but I think when settled these will hunt the food ,...

Re: Babies born today.

The reason ray hybrids are common is because they are not fussy about their partners wild hybrids occur quite frequently as all the potamotrygon are arrived from a few land locked fishes that evolved with the amazon river .... I did not make them breed it happened . While on the subject I do and wil...

Re: Etroplus, Barilius and so on

Looking good Alex ,how many of each are there in the tank and do the etroplus bother the barilius or not? maybe the tank size has relevance to this but some fish etroplus take a nip at.
But in the shop they are only in a 24" tank.

Re: Half Bronze Half Albino Cory with pictures

This colouration is common on fishes that have had a stroke .
Half the head is blackend after the trauma right down the centre of its skull.
I am not trying to be negative, I have seen it a few times usually on cichlids
