Pleco possible scrape

Recently my pleco has developed this light spot on his back, and after examining it I noticed a tear in one of his fins. Does this look like fin Rot or is it nothing to worry about. Also the tear in the fin was not there earlier in that same day so it appeared out of nowhere

Re: Pleco very light after changing tanks

As long as it's eating, you should be okay. Body color can change for a lot of reasons. What did you change? Just a water change? Or do you mean rearranging the tank? Cheers, Eric I moved him to a completely new tank I just got, and I literally moved him seconds ago so I have no idea if he’s eating...

Re: Does my pleco look healthy?

Also does anyone know anything about overflow filters, because my brand new one just rattles and doesn’t pump any water.

Re: Does my pleco look healthy?

I was getting ready to switch tanks and after having everything moved but the fish, the filter on the new tank is not working. The pleco is almost completely white. Could this be due to stress of everything being moved around, and will he go back to normal

Re: Does my pleco look healthy?

I can’t tell if he is getting lighter or just camouflaged with the gravel

Does my pleco look healthy?

Just got my pleco about a month ago and he seems a little lighter than some that I have seen but always has been. Does he look healthy. He eats fine and acts fine but breathes really fast when I walk up to the tank
