Oh no! Not the whole list at once. It didn’t seem likely that I would find more than a couple at a time.
I have extensive special order lists at both of my local stores, they come up with something from time to time. I would always prefer to buy from a person than a store if it is an option though.

Re: Issues with pop ups?
My pop up blocker doesn’t work on this site, they show up in the middle of the page blocking my view. Anyone else had this issue and solved it? What kind of dark magic are they using that this is the only website that manages to evade me pop up blocker? For real, I have never seen pop ups on an iPh...

Re: S.Nigriventris and S.Contractus are unhappy, what can I do better?
When I was replying to the other post I remembered that I meant to come back here and correct my error in uploading the wrong picture last time. That was the picture next to the one I wanted, and was a nigriventris.
This one is contractus, with those adorably huge eyes.

Re: Is it possible to spawn Synodontis contractus?
Yes they will and yes similar to s.nigriventris in pretty much every way. Their behavior, eating, social, and spawning behavior are pretty much identical. They are also similar in that neither species spawns for the first time until they are like two or so years old. The bigger the school the better...

Catfish wish list
I came here to ask about a couple things and then decided why not just post the long wish list, including things I have that need more friends, things that you don’t really see everyday, and things that border on impossible to source. Maybe I will get really lucky and people will know where to find ...

As requested.
Took a minute, they do not care for having their picture taken.
Edit: I accidentally uploaded the wrong picture here. This fish is a nigriventris. Next picture is contractus.

Re: LDA wormline chubby pleco
Ordered 3 more, they arrived today. One very interesting thing about these guys is they appear to be able to change colors at will and pretty much instantly. They were all the same color when I took them out of the box, now one is almost white and one is fully black. The third is still that yellow c...

Re: S.Nigriventris and S.Contractus are unhappy, what can I do better?
So to post an update I now have a school of 10 individuals in a heavily planted tank with some pygmy corys, habros, and Phoenix rasbora and they must like it because now I see them frequently swimming around in groups of 3 or 4. I will be upgrading the whole group to a 60 breeder in a few weeks and ...

Breeding spoonface whiptaiks?
The breeding reports for planiloricaria cryptodon kind of leave something to be desired in the way of information. I think these are just awesome looking fish and I have been playing with the idea of purchasing a male/female pair. I have pretty much decided to do it now that I have set up another 75...

Leaf litter
To anyone running a tank with leaf litter on the bottom, how often do you change out the leaves? My tank just ends up with tons of leaf debris in the water column, is this just unavoidable or am I leaving the leaves in too long or is there some other type I should be using, or maybe more fresh leave...

Re: L056 Yellow Chubby Pleco (Parancistrus aurantiacus) sexing
I just got a big group of yellow chubby plecos. Some are pretty large almost 10"! Anyone know if this bigger one is a male or female? Thanks in advance! I know I am kind of reviving an old thread. But I am dying to know if you figured out a reliable way to sex chubbys? It seems like every LDA0...

Re: Super Equis corydora?
Honestly, I think you are right. These fish are bigger than my other horseman’s but they are also much more deeply colored, it is possible that the size of these ones is just kind of a fluke or is location based. They are some nice looking fish and I am going to pick them up either way, but being as...

These fish are gorgeous!! I took the first bag from the box and must have just stared at is repeating “wow” for a solid 2 minutes lol. Started seeing these pop up in online stores recently and now my lfs has a school in their display tank. Gold Dust Bristlenose?
Aqua Imports is selling these fish that they are calling gold dust bristlenose. (Ancistrus Sp.) They say that the spots have a golden color but you can’t tell from the picture. Has anybody seen or heard of these, I can’t find any mention anywhere else and am curious if anyone knows what it actually ...

Re: S.Negriventris and S.Contracta are unhappy, what can I do better?
So if I had like 8 total would it matter that they are mixed species? I have looked around and it doesn’t seem like I can get more contractus anywhere, which tracks with what you just told me about them being less common. I will try to get pictures so you can confirm. I had originally put it up for ...

6 tank reared Alenquer Tigers (L397) and 2 Ancistrus sp. Wabenmuster
To clarify the 397s are F1 tank born, the parent were wild caught. The wabenmusters have captive bred parents. They are like 1.5-2” at this point. All healthy and active, eating well on a variety of foods including wafers, repashy, and occasional daphnia/bloodworms. I am asking 60$ each for the 397s...

S.Nigriventris and S.Contractus are unhappy, what can I do better?
I was sold a mix of both of these species at me LFS, I did notice the differences and questioned them but they brought their “fresh water expert” over and he talked me into it. Once I had them home out of the dim store lighting it was quite obvious that although my order had been for 6 S.Nigriventri...

Algae eating plecos smaller than BN?
I am wondering if anyone can recommend any plecos that are good algae eaters/cleaners that stay smaller that bristlenose, something that maxes out not much over 3” would be Ideal. Bonus points if they are a bit more exotic and good looking. Thank you
