Took a few hours today to get in some photography at the store, but Haakon had the odacity to not import new plecos (hehehehe), so only one pleco today. But he did have some cool corys tho, which I will work my way through at a later date :D

Could you please help me ID this catfish. All I know is that it is a Panaqolus from Peru. I am not sure which part of the country tho.

Anyhow, next species up:

I'd call this Hypoptopoma . Oxyropsis have slender caudal peduncles that are much wider than they are high - like Hemiloricaria for example. In this fish I see three rows of vertical scales on the peduncle hence the suggested ID.
