Got in some new unknown Otocinclus species in my LFS. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Ps. I think it might be a vampire Otocinclus? Might be wrong though.

Thanks for the tips! This batch of them came with severe white spot issues and wiped out a lot of fishes in my temporary tank along with the otos themselves. Thankfully I got a further 3 more and currently have 2 nursed back to health in a QT tank.

Hiya guys, so I recently got some Peru white otocinclus. Been doing some research / asking around but there's barely any info on these fish + some opinions I got were pretty split. Anyone had experience with these and could give some tips?

Thanks! Well it was sold as L471 but well just size alone tells me it’s not that so I connected it to L201 but well you could be right

I understand that for sure. And as I always say a fish is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I could be wrong, but it looks like a very nicely patterned L333.... fins, body, and eye seem to fit though very hard to tell from sure...... pattern is almost never a good way to ID ...

Twice the price of a L46 and they can't even say what it is. Plus, it's the only one they have...... it would be a pass in my book but that is just me!
