That's interesting. I can see why they finally put M. tigrinus as a Brachyplatystoma, it always looked and behaved just like one.

B. flavicans.

Now I'm even more confused. What does Zungaro zungaro have to do with B. flavicans? These are two cats that look nothing alike. Was that information ever verified concerning the switch from flavicans to rousseauxii?

Tigrinus tankmates

I have my tigrinus in with a Peacock Bass(Cichla ocellaris) and I've had no problems. The problem lies in that several fish will take interest in the tigrinus tail filaments. So far my Cichla has shown no interest and he's too large to swallow.

Brachyplatystoma rousseauxii

I'm confused. Is Brachyplatystoma rousseauxii the same as Brachyplatystoma flavicans? I can't find any info on flavicans but I keep seeing Brachyplatystoma rousseauxii, which I haven't heard of. The pics on the site look like flavicans.
