The thing is it is hard to tell which species the albino is to begin with to know whether or not it will create a hybrid. Secondly, that is too many plecs in a 10g. They may be alright for awhile since they are small but they will not grow appropriately in a 10g and I'm sure other folks here can com...

I never tried to breed the one that we had but it's behavior in general was exactly like the albino bristle noses that I have, except perhaps that it was more evasive. Good luck with breeding! Let us know how it goes! :wink:

That very well may be Laurab5 but he/she was not asking about clown pl*cos.... he/she was speaking of clown loaches. As far as that goes... barbie explained it pretty good regarding their sensitivities and whatnot to certain meds... rid ich has malachyte green in it which is VERY toxic to clown loac...

:( I used Rid Ich in my tank with clown loaches (silly beginer mistake) and killed them all.... :( Edit: I found copper safe to be the most effective and safe... as long as you do not have any snails or shrimp in the tank. The good thing about it also is that it is a treatment for one time a month. ...

Hello, we have had a debate going on for some time on what the catfish below is. It was bought as L236a Platinum Tiger but some would feel that they are L333, I must admit the markings/simularities are simular. The biggest differences that I can see between species by looking at pictures on this web...

I had two of the L200 and THEY ATE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY PLANTS.... and the veggetables I put in :chuckle: , ultimately we sold them.... :shock: They are very pretty though... :lol:
