Fair enough.
I remember as kids, catching them in the Rivers and Channels, with a piece of old meat as bait.
I was under the impression that they were like the proverbial 'Goat', and eat anything (tin cans etc).

I gather that in order to pull the Scuba-Man back up though the throat, that there is plenty of space there. ie, no little sphincters and such, like we have ?
Personally, I'd be more comfortable with enlarging the hole with a neat scalpel cut, and pulling the poor bloke out straight through the side.

Your budget may play a huge role in selecting your species. $100 would get you a nice collection of Bristlenose & Cory's. But your basic Plec's are going to begin at $30-40 a head, and really soar from there, depending on availability.

This tank is on Fermented Yeast CO2, at probably half the rate required for a tank this size (250 litre). CO2 is delivered via a Bubble Maze.
