does the vacuum effect happen only with the breather bags ?
I was just wondering as I have had some L144 (they were fry)via courier in regular fish bags though, although luckily the bags didnt break but those containing all the non catfish did break and the fish were swimming around in the water ...

I would like to suggest a size based list.
Such as several headings each being a different size range of total body lengths of adult fish and then a list of links within each size range, whereby the names link to the species in the Cat-elog.

I noticed one of my jack dempsey's had its mouth open a little and I could see some movement, I watched for a short while, I was looking almost from the side, the fish was right at the front of the tank so I was approx 6inches from it, it looked as if it had a tongue or a tooth and was moving it ...

what did you use to cut the eps insulation please ?
As I want to make some of these

I just use the front room but its got a wooden floor with floorboards,so Im not sure about if stacked tanks 3 or more high would work safely on that floor or not.

in the article linked to above the author writes about and shows a photo of using pvc pipe.
I am wondering how do they get the pipe to sink please ?
as it does not appear to have any holes drilled in the pvc pipe and I cannot see any weight such as some plant lead siliconed onto the pvc pipe ...

I feed my bristlenose ,Ancistrus Sp(3) , cucumber and once a week I give them catfish pellets, I fed them some peas when they were young (I peeled em incase the shell trap the fry), I am wondering now which other vegetables I can feed to them to give them a variety and if they are fed raw ...
