Pleco Fishroom Closeout
I am needing to get my garage back to normal so I am closing down my fish room. I am hoping for someone to just be interested in getting a great deal for everything versus doing everything individually. Items are for pickup in Fort Wayne, IN.

Looks like a great start! I don't work at a fish store anymore but something like this would have been great! Also, when you see a fish in a store your not familiar with, just scan the code and you can find out what it might feed on, how to sex them, how they spawn, etc... Pretty cool

Re: WiFi Temp sensor for your fishtank
The problem I have with most of these type of products is the water temperature sensors. They just don't hold up when you use RO water to keep the parameters on the acidic side.

I have used it on the front of my tanks on the bottom of the racks to keep the fish from getting spooked as well.
The kind I purchased uses static electricity and stays put just fine.racoll wrote:Nice idea. I assume it stays put okay?

Amazon Blind Catfish
Came across this picture gallery on the web and saw this catfish. I didn't see it in the catelog and thought it may be of some interest.

Re: Cleaning sand
The idea behind a thin layer of sand is the detritus stays on top so all you have to do is siphon of the stuff on the top. You don't shove the siphon in the sand like you would with gravel. I sometimes will even use a large turkey baster to suck off the detritus as it usually collects in just a few ...

The picture isn't the best is the reason I have not replied. From what I see I'd say a male but a shot of the entire genital would be the best.

The body looks like Contradens but the spot pattern doesn't. I've not seen spots that close and irregular to one another on a contradens. And the spot color doesn't quite fit either.

Looking at the Back to Nature Guide I'd have to say . According to the book it is usually incorrectly labeled as L163 in trade so very possible many of the pictures in the cat-elog are mislabeled as well.
