I did not know that about petsmart..the people there always give me advice..but I also always see dead fish in the tanks.and the tanks are always poorly taken care of.

so they dont take care of them there? I am just wondering because thats the only place to buy fish where I live

on a side note, the majority of fish that you'll get from a place like petsmart will be ill when you get them.

I really like the panda catfish there is another catfish they sell here called a Clown Catfush that has a small pattern but those are the only two that I have seen around here

Does anyone else have any Panda catfish? They have 2 or 3 black dots on them. My fish store said they used to sell for $10 now they are down to about $3 here so my fish store got some in, but only for a limited time. Do they sell these fish in your area?

I dont know what kind of filter its just a small filter that came with the aquarium in a kit. The water temp. is about 78 right now. what do you mean by cycled this aquarium properly?

I changed all the water because I did not know any better. This is my first aquarium.
The fish I had were some green corys and some panda catfish. I had the tank set up about a month..then I changed all the water and replaced it with tap water guess thats why my fish died..I HAVE TWO CATFISH LEFT ...

Im really down now..all my fish but 2 have died..I must have done something really wrong..If I am supposed to let the water stand for a few days what do I do with the fish for that time? Also if I only change part of the water then the rest of the water is still dirty..please help
