I like to use MelaFix. It is availiable in a 64oz. highly concentrated size that will last you forever. Your local pet store can order it for you or you can get the pond MelaFix it is more concentrated than the small bottles usually found in the stores.

It looks alot like the oxydoras niger. The only difference I see in my specimen is that the "hooks" on the sides are not hooks at all but just nubs. Would that just be from inadequate tank conditions? His fins also look shorter than they ...

Tirashugi catfish-large

I bought this large catfish from my local pet store and it was sold as a tirashugi cat but I have been unable to find anything on a fish by that name. Would anyone have an idea of what it may be called? It is large 20 inches or more and black with stubby fins. The fins may be stunted. He has nubs ...
