Thanks for the info. You are so right about this being a messy fish! I have def noticed a difference when I vacuum out my tank! His cave area is always filthy. I was thinking the 55 would be safer, I just was not sure if it is big enough for a 6" catfish? The jaguar female is the only cichlid in the tank, so there is no hope of her eggs being fertile. I definetly DON'T plan on getting her a mate! One jag is enough for me thanks! I don't need a thousand ...

I just got this pleco as a gift from a friend. He is a very cute little fish! Looks like he is wearing a pin striped suit. I want to be sure I am doing all I can for his health and happiness.
